The DMU Formula student team continued its year on year improvement with a 44th out of 62 teams at this years Silverstone event. This was an 8 place improvement on the 2016 result despite a design change to the engines intake system that actually resulted in lost power. This was discovered too late to redesign before the event but the team have now corrected this and along with other new design ideas including a new engine they are working towards further improvement for 2018.
Northampton Motorsport will continue to support the team with its Life Racing engine management system and calibration work.
