The Omex Clubman rev limiter with launch control offers engine protection via a user definable engine speed cut. Selectable between either a soft or hard cut rev limit, the Clubman rev limiter reduces engine power safely to limit the engine speed thus protecting the engine from damage caused by over-revving.

A launch control limit is user definable and operated with the supplied launch button to give consistent starts, reducing the chance of wheelspin or engine ‘bog down’. With turbocharged engines this allows you to build boost at low engine speeds for the launch.

Description

The Omex Rev Limiter with Launch Control features a user selectable hard or soft cut, this award winning microprocessor based design provides one of the smoothest cuts found on an aftermarket rev limiter. The limit can be set from 1,000 RPM to 20,000 RPM for 2 cylinder and 4 cylinder, 12,000 RPM for 6 cylinder and 10,000 RPM for 8 cylinder. This rev limiter is available in two options of single coil and twin coil and is not suitable for CDI ignition systems.

The Omex microprocessor based shift lights and rev limiters feature Omex’s acclaimed method of calibration. Shift point and rev limit is set independently of the car’s tachometer, thereby removing any instrument error by incrementing in steps of 100 RPM by simply pressing a button on the unit. Precise digital timing ensures response within one engine revolution.

All Omex products are manufactured in the UK in an ISO9000 certified factory and are individually tested before sale, ensuring a consistently high quality product. The unit is epoxy filled giving it extreme resistance to vibration, shock, and water, giving a long life even in the most demanding motorsport environments.
