Description
This Jenvey Duratec Injector Bung is aluminium injector bung designed specifically for the 2.0L Ford Duratec engine.
They are used when relocating the fuel injectors from the cylinder head (usually on a throttle body conversion). The bungs blank off the original injector port holes.
Jenvey Duratec Injector Bung Installation instructions:
- Screw the bung all the way onto a long M6 cap head
- Ideally place a rag in the port to prevent dirt of debris getting into the engine
- Degrease the injector port
- Put a small amount of Locktite all the way round the centre ring section of the bung (we recommend the use of Locktite 648)
- Put the bung into the injector port and tap in with a small hammer until it goes solid
- Remove the cap head and allow glue to set
