Rolling Road Tuning
Our Superflow AD30 2 wheel drive chassis dyno has a 1200 bhp and 225 mph capacity. The knurled rollers give excellent traction with no tyre slip and the high inertia of the roller assembly allows us to accurately recreate all driving conditions. As well as optimising power and torque at full throttle we also focus on driveability and part throttle performance. This ensures your race car is as easy to drive as your road car and your road car is as responsive as your race car.
ECU Remapping
We have chosen market leading partners to supply our remapping services, Revo Technik and Superchips UK based companies with their own R&D facilities including rolling roads and all offer full technical back up. With a remap from Northampton Motorsport your car will feel sharper and more responsive.
Wheel Alignment
We have the latest Hunter HD alignment system that lets us measure and visualise the complete 4 wheel alignment of your car. On your road car this means that we can optimise handling, safety and economy. On your race, rally or track day car we can ensure the geometry is optimised for your suspension and tyre type to help you extract the maximum performance available.
Carburettor Servicing
As well as being fully conversant with modern electronic engine management we know all about carburettors too. We have a unique 3 stage refurbishment process to bring your old and weary carbs back to their former glory.

Our experience, knowledge and equipment allow the team at Northampton Motorsport to pinpoint and repair defects that others can only struggle with. Our specialist equipment allows us to drill down to the cause of the problem within a budget that suits your requirements.

Jack
Company Mascot (retired)After 15 years of faithful service Jack sadly left us in 2018 but we all loved him so much we couldn't bring ourselves to remove him from the team so he's staying put, he is always with us in spirit anyway. Jack was an invaluable member of the team with diverse skills such as lolling around in his bed, playing football with tennis balls, barking at the hoover and soliciting treats from visitors using his power of cuteness.
James Hatfield
TechnicianJames's background is in the retail motor trade having spent the last 16 years working for BMW, SEAT and Alfa Romeo franchises. Whilst this has allowed him to develop a high level of expertise in modern vehicle technology his true passion lies with Motorsport. His ability to put together top level track machines was confirmed when his Civic type R was voted car of the year by Japanese tuning magazine Banzai.
Ollie
Trainee company Mascot and chief fusspotOllie joined the company in March 2019 and has settled into his role quickly. He relishes the challenges of his working day and enjoys the interaction with the team and customers alike, although he didn’t seem to enjoy modelling the new Northampton Motorsport beanie hat.
Adam Gardner
TechnicianAdam joined in March 2019, although he had worked with Troy almost 20 years ago when they both worked at Bond Street Saab in Leicester. Adam was doing his apprenticeship at the time and a year later Troy left to take over at Northampton Motorsport. Adam was into his rallying and they both had mutual friends so often bumped into each other over the following years. For over 10 years Adam had his own service and repair business so got used to dealing with any problems he came across from engine and transmission builds to diagnostics and wiring making him a versatile and experienced technician. During that time he was competing in his Mini as the driver and also co driving for other competitors. Currently he has a BMW E30 which he uses on Midlands road rallies, 12 car and Auto Solo events, so basically any excuse to go out and play.
