Vehicle Diagnostics

Northampton Motorsport’s engineers are highly experienced in all aspects of vehicle dynamics and systems. This knowledge and experience coupled with our extensive diagnostic equipment allows us to identify and resolve many unusual problems.

The Knowledge

At Northampton Motorsport we are used to dealing with high performance and one off builds just as much as regular daily drivers. For this reason we are often used by other garages to pinpoint the cause of problems that they have not been able to repair. By using our rolling road, alignment system and engine management diagnostic equipment we can replicate the conditions under which a fault may occur, measure what’s happening and why and then decide how to best resolve the problem.

If you have

Engine running issues
Electrical faults
Abnormal noises
Handling problems
Specialist design requirements

Then Northampton motorsport can help.

With diagnostic work it is often difficult to estimate how long the diagnosis will take and the eventual cost of repairs until some initial investigation has been done.

For this reason we always discuss the problem and set an initial budget limit with the customer so that they have control over costs.

Thanks for carrying out the various work yesterday. Was very impressed with everything and reassured as well. And thanks for keeping me topped up with coffee Amanda! it was needed!

I completely enjoyed the day. Found yourself, Chris and Coops very interesting and informative, (and clearly enthusiastic), in terms that were understandable to a 'numbnuts' layman like me. Learnt an awful lot about the car and will certainly be back should I need your assistance.

Steve

Hi there,
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the service you provide. I paid for these bits on Tuesday afternoon and they were with me on Wednesday! Also the reply to my email was thorough and detailed, which was invaluable..
Of course, if anyone asks me I will be recommending you immediately, and should I need any more bits you will be my first point of call. Thanks again, it is much appreciated,
Regards Rob.
